We had a surprise party for Tanner's 14th. We've lived here a long time now and Tanner will really miss his friends when we move this summer. We thought they deserved a fun night together.
I just missed the kids saying 'surprise' on this video, but you can still catch a bit of Tanner's shock.
This happened during present opening. Someone gave Tanner silly string. Someone else thought it would be a good idea to shoot it at mom.

And as for the Chuck Norris poster, one of the kids gave it to Tanner and it is hilarious. It has all this stuff about how tough Chuck Norris is. For instance:
Chuck Norris has a summer home on the sun.
Don't cry over spilled milk, unless it's Chuck Norris's milk, because then your dead.
Chuck Norris doesn't mow his lawn, he just stares at it and dares it to grow.
Anyway, the kids (and frankly my husband) really loved it.
And finally, the end of the Twister game had us cracking up. Chili is a very strong kid and Audrey just doesn't know how to quit. So by the end the Twister mat was wet with sweat and both kids were trembling. We finally just called it a tie.
