The Head of Hernando Cortes
Tanner's most recent school project was on Hernando Cortes. For a little extra credit he sculpted his head. When Tanner first said to me, "I'm sculpting the head of Hernando Cortes," I had my doubts. But darn if he didn't come up with a pretty good caricature. Why he is sticking out his tongue, nobody knows.
