Shari Leavens has been Audrey's orchestra teacher since the fourth grade. She been teaching orchestra for twenty-three years and this year she is retiring. She will continue to teach private lessons to many lucky students (including my daughter!) and will also continue to work with the Tacoma Youth Symphony organization, but she will be missed at school. We owe much of Audrey's musical success to Shari. She has always encouraged her, been supportive of every effort, and been patient when Audrey has shown up without bow-tie, music, or permission slip. She is a quirky, fun lady who is masterful on the violin. We'll miss you!

This is Audrey and few of her favorite orchestra friends...

Hello Miss Audrey - I love this bow-tie-less photo! You are my kind of girl. I don't suppose you will bring that violin with you this summer for a concert for the grandparents??? It really never hurts to score some points with the old folks! Love, G. Lynn
